Royal Navy HMS Good Hope. 01 November 1914

William Cartwright lived at High Side, Dudley and served in the Royal Navy. In 1914 he was a Royal Marine Gunner in HMS Good Hope, a Drake class armoured cruiser of 14,000 tons launched in 1901.
