Simeon Pendress was the husband of Sarah Ann of 7 Little Cornbow, Halesowen. He enlisted in the Worcesters and was sent to the 3/8th (Reserve) Battalion, probably in view of his age. Private Simeon Pendress died on home service on the 15th May 1915. He was 48 years of age and is buried in St. John's Cemetery, Halesowen, and commemorated on the Halesowen Memorial.
