ELLETT, Charles H

Labour Corps. 10 January 1921

Charles Ellett lived at 48 Summer Street, Stourbridge, and worked as a labourer. He enlisted in the Worcesters on the 25th August 1915, when his address was 2 Worcester Street, and joined the Territorials of the 7th Battalion. He was promoted to Lance Corporal and later transferred to the Labour Corps. It is not clear where he served but he was discharged on the 9th April 1919. His name does not appear in the Commonwealth War Graves list but he died on the 10th January 1921 and is buried in Stourbridge Cemetery (O 434) and commemorated on the Stourbridge and Methodist church Memorials.
