TREVIS, William Henry

Royal Engineers. 06 December 1918

William Trevis was the son of Francis and Susannah Trevis of 126 Birmingham Street, Stourbridge. He enlisted in the Royal Engineers and was employed in the Railway Transport Department in the Engineers depot at Longmoor, Hants. In November 1918 Pioneer William Trevis was admitted to Wordsley Military Hospital where he died, probably of influenza, on the 6th December 1918. He is buried in Lye and Wollescote Cemetery (C M 33). He was 26 years of age and is commemorated on the Stourbridge and St. John's church Memorials.
