James Bucknall lived at 126 Northfield, Netherton, and was an early volunteer for the Worcesters. He was sent to the 3rd Battalion on the Western Front and joined them in Artois early in 1915. He is buried in Bedford House No 2 Cemetery (IV B 19) and commemorated on the Dudley Memorial.
