MOORE, Harry

Worcestershire. 13 November 1919

Harry Moore was born in 1888 and originally lived at 33 High Street, Wollaston, with his six brothers and two sisters. He attended Wollaston C of E School and left in 1901 to work in a glass works. He enlisted in 1916 and joined the Worcesters and survived the war, only to die a year later on the 13th November 1919. He was 31 years of age and is buried in the graveyard of St. James, Wollaston. He is commemorated on the Stourbridge and Wollaston church Memorials, together with his brother, Horace, who was killed in 1918.
