Dudley Grammar School memorial stands beside the old grammar school building close to the original dedication stone which commemorated its opening in July 1898. It is a stepped four sided column standing on a broad base incorporating a wreath. Two of the three long metal panels display the 61 names and the front panel contains the dedication.
THIS MEMORIAL IS RAISED TO THE MEMORY OF THE OLD BOYS OF THE DUDLEY GRAMMAR SCHOOL WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918
